本课边界

这是Unit 10整合课，不新增主要语法。第二条件句只学习 What would you do? 与 If I were you, I'd … 两个建议词块，不要求自由变换假设结构。

A decision that can still be tested

After her free trial day, Aisha asks Maya to help her think. The studio has offered a one-month flexible desk, but the offer expires that evening.

Part A — The real trade-off

Aisha: I have enough information now, but I still keep going in circles. What would you do?

Maya: Before I answer, what are the two real options?

Aisha: I can accept a one-month flexible desk, or I can keep working entirely from home and buy occasional day passes. I'm thinking of taking the month because yesterday I stopped work on time and had two useful conversations with other designers.

Maya: What is the main trade-off?

Aisha: Routine versus flexibility. The monthly desk may help me build a better routine, but I can't afford to keep it if I use it less than six times. Day passes cost more per visit, but I won't pay in weeks when I stay home.

Maya: If I were you, I'd treat the month as a measured trial, not a permanent change.

Aisha: That's what I'm leaning toward. Nothing's set in stone after the first month.

Maya: What would make the trial worthwhile?

Part B — Turning advice into Aisha's decision

Aisha: If I use the desk at least six times, finish by six on most studio days, and still find the conversations useful, I'll consider another month.

Maya: And if everything doesn't go to plan?

Aisha: If client work keeps me at home, I'll switch back to day passes. Unless I use the desk four times by the middle of the month, I won't renew automatically.

Maya: So you're saying that four visits is the early warning point, and six visits is the full-month target.

Aisha: Exactly. Either way, I'm keeping my home workspace. The studio is another tool, not a move.

Maya: When will you review the decision?

Aisha: I'll check the numbers after two weeks and again two days before renewal. As soon as I finish each studio day, I'll note the hours, the work I completed, and whether the location actually helped.

Maya: Let me make sure I've got this right. You're accepting one trial month. You'll track use and work boundaries, review at two points, and return to day passes if the desk isn't useful. Did I miss anything?

Aisha: One thing: this is my decision, not a promise to prove your advice was right.

Maya: Fair. My advice can be wrong; your evidence gets the final vote.

• 提出小试验或复查点；
• 以“决定权在你”结束。

A随后形成自己的决定，可以不采纳B的建议。

F. 调解／转述任务

假设第三位合作者没参加讨论。用90—130词向其说明：Aisha比较了什么、Maya建议了什么、Aisha最终决定什么、哪些条件会导致重新评估。必须区分 Maya's advice 与 Aisha's decision。

G. 单元最终任务

选择你真实面对或合理原创的一个低风险选择，完成3—4分钟输出：

1. 说明背景和两个选项；
2. 给出主要取舍；
3. 说明哪些安排固定、哪些仍可能改变；
4. 建立至少两个 if / unless / as soon as 条件；
5. 给出小范围试验、复查日期和退出条件；
6. 明确最终决定由谁作出。

H. 中译英情境表达

第一次录音

只看画布录3—4分钟。不要先写完整稿。至少使用第37—39课每课两个核心词块，并准确使用一个建议词块。

延迟复查

一周后用60—90秒更新：计划实施了吗？哪项证据改变了？是否需要 revisit？如果没有真实执行，就说明你仍缺少什么信息，不虚构结果。
