学完本课，你能够：

• 不直接说 You're wrong 也能表达保留；
• 用具体事实说明担忧，而不是模糊反对；
• 用第一条件句说明真实方案的可能结果；
• 提出一个可以比较的替代方案；
• 在讨论结束时明确接受、修改或暂不采用哪个方案。

语言边界

本课的第一条件句只讨论现实、可能发生的工作结果：If + 一般现在时，will / can + 动词原形。不扩展第二条件句或抽象假设辩论。

A release plan needs one more check

Marcus, Daniel and Aisha meet online on Wednesday afternoon.

Part A — A concern, not a rejection

Marcus: The guide looks close. I'd like to send it to everyone on Friday morning.

Aisha: I'm not sure that will work. The accessibility check won't be finished until Friday afternoon.

Marcus: My concern is that a Monday release will put us behind schedule.

Daniel: If we send it before the check, some staff may receive a file their screen reader can't use properly.

Marcus: That's a fair point. Is there any chance we could finish the check earlier?

Aisha: Not carefully. We still have twelve pages and two file formats.

Part B — Building an alternative

Daniel: What if we send it to a five-person review group on Thursday instead?

Aisha: That might work. The advantage is that we can test both files with a small group before the full release.

Marcus: Will five people give us enough useful feedback?

Aisha: Yes, if the group includes people using both file formats and different devices.

Marcus: If the reviewers reply by Friday noon, can we make the final changes that afternoon?

Daniel: Yes. Then we can release it to everyone at nine on Monday.

Aisha: I'd prefer that plan. It protects the check without losing another week.

Marcus: Agreed. Let's use the small review first and confirm the action items tomorrow.

The group adopts the review-first plan. No one treats the original Friday proposal as an approved release.

C. Concern is not certainty

Some staff may receive an unusable file.

团队知道有风险，但不知道一定会发生。本课不把可能结果夸大为确定事故。

2. 结果可以用will、can或may

If they reply by noon, we can make the changes on Friday.
If we skip the check, some readers may have difficulty.

3. 条件在后面时通常不用逗号

We can finish on Friday if they reply by noon.

4. 缓和语不取消内容

I'm not sure that will work because the check isn't complete.

语气柔和，理由仍须具体。

1. Give a gentle suggestion that the team test the file with a small group.
2. Say it may be a good idea to record the review results.
3. Clearly recommend completing the accessibility check before full release.
4. The booking closes in five minutes; give advice with a real consequence.
5. Connect a repeated file problem to a next step.
6. Admit you cannot identify the technical cause, then suggest contacting qualified support.

F. Lesson 25间隔检索

1. Ask whether a colleague received your message about a changed meeting room.
2. Say you sent the new room number moments ago.
3. Say you responded earlier than the colleague expects.
4. Report that the updated calendar invitation has not appeared up to now.

G. 实用写作

写80—100词方案回复：礼貌表达保留，引用一个具体限制，用第一条件句说明结果，提出替代并说明其优点。结尾询问是否采用，不替团队虚构最终决定。

从“提前发布、缩短会议、减少测试、临时换地点”中选一个方案。伙伴随机增加一个新限制。你们在90—150秒内比较原方案和替代方案，并明确接受、修改或暂缓。

独立录音

只看 position / concern / if-result / alternative / advantage / decision，录75—105秒。至少使用本课6项新表达中的5项。

三天后的复习

更换限制后重新表达。如果只会说 I disagree 或 Maybe another plan，重做第3、4、7部分。
