Getting to the City History Museum

Maya and Ben are at Union Square Station. They study the map, but two Blue Line platforms go in opposite directions.

Part A — Asking for the route

Maya: Excuse me, which line should we take for the City History Museum?

Station attendant: Take the Blue Line toward Airport.

Ben: Which platform do we need for the Blue Line?

Station attendant: Platform 2. The stairs are on your left, beyond the ticket machines.

Maya: Is there an elevator nearby?

Station attendant: Yes. It's beside the stairs and goes to the same platform.

Ben: Do we stay on the Blue Line all the way?

Station attendant: No. Change at Central Station for the Green Line.

Maya: Which direction on the Green Line?

Station attendant: Take the train toward Hill Park and get off at Museum Square.

Ben: How many stops is that from here?

Station attendant: Three stops to Central, then two more to Museum Square.

Part B — Confirming the route

Maya: Let me make sure I've got this right. First, we take the Blue Line toward Airport for three stops.

Station attendant: Correct.

Maya: Then we change at Central for the Green Line toward Hill Park.

Station attendant: Right. Get off at Museum Square.

Ben: Which exit should we use?

Station attendant: Follow the signs for Exit C. The museum is across from the station.

Ben: So: Blue toward Airport, change at Central, Green toward Hill Park, off at Museum Square, Exit C.

Station attendant: Exactly.

Maya: Thanks. Now the map makes sense.

Station attendant: You're welcome. Have a good visit.

They reach Museum Square without taking a train in the wrong direction.

现实路线任务

使用一张你熟悉的真实地铁图或自制三线地图。选择一个需要换乘的目的地，先向伙伴问路，再复述路线。伙伴随机改变一个出口或关闭一条换乘通道，你必须重新说明。

至少自然使用本课6项新表达中的5项。

实用互动写作

给即将来见你的朋友写50—70词路线消息，包含起点、线路、方向、换乘站、下车站、出口和最终地标。朋友随机说“某出口关闭”或“我从另一个起点来”，再写30—50词修订路线。

三天后的复习

不看教材，根据一张陌生的两线地图，在60秒内说明一条需要换乘的路线。缺少方向、换乘站或下车站中的任一项都要重做。
