学完本课，你能够：

• 用一条自然的信息或一段简短对话邀请朋友到家；
• 问清对方是否参加、是否带人，并算出最终人数；
• 根据可数或不可数名词选择 some / any、much / many、a few / a little；
• 用30—70词的消息确认邀请或分配需要携带的物品；
• 在人数临时变化时，重新说明一份简短准备清单。

On Friday afternoon, Maya calls Daniel and puts him on speaker. Ben is in the kitchen with her.

Part A — Inviting Daniel and making the list

Maya: Ben and I are having a few people over tomorrow. Would you like to come over for dinner?

Daniel: That sounds great. What time?

Maya: Six thirty.

Daniel: That works for me. How many people are coming?

Maya: Six, including you: Ben, our daughter, me, two neighbors, and you.

Ben: Hi, Daniel. Let's make a list now that we know the head count.

Daniel: Sure. Can I bring anything?

Ben: We could use some sparkling water.

Daniel: Sure. How many bottles do you need?

Ben: Two.

Daniel: Did you say two or three?

Maya: Two. We already have a few bottles of juice.

Ben: How much ice do we have?

Maya: Not much. There's only a little in the freezer.

Daniel: I can bring one bag of ice too.

Ben: Thanks. Do we have any salad ingredients?

Maya: We have some lettuce, but we don't have any tomatoes.

Ben: Then I'll buy a few tomatoes. How many pizzas do we need?

Maya: Let's order three large pizzas. We only need a few snacks after that.

Daniel: Let me check: two bottles of sparkling water and one bag of ice.

Ben: Right. That's everything.

Part B — The completed plan

On Saturday evening, after everyone has eaten:

Daniel: Thanks for having me. Dinner was great.

本课有六项全新的主动词块：We're having people over、Would you like to come over?、Can I bring anything?、We could use some…、Let's make a list、Thanks for having me.

That sounds great 属于基础回应唤醒；That works for me 来自第3课。How many…? / How much…? 是本课唯一数量语法系统中的一组问法，不另算一套词块语法。邀请、主动帮忙和建议表达按完整词块使用，本课不展开新的情态动词体系。

我们要请人来家里。随意到中性，适合朋友、亲戚或熟悉的同事之间说明安排。

We're having a few friends over on Sunday.

2. Would you like to come over?

你愿意来我家吗？友好、礼貌，适合发出明确邀请。

3. That sounds great.

听起来很不错。基础回应唤醒，用于自然接受提议或邀请。

A: We're having dinner outside.

4. That works for me.

我可以／这个安排我没问题。第3课表达，用于接受时间、地点或方案。

Seven o'clock works for me.

5. Can I bring anything?

需要我带什么吗？友好、中性，是客人主动帮忙的常用问法。

6. We could use some …

我们正好需要一些…… 中性、柔和，用来回应“我能带什么”。

7. How many … do we need?

我们需要多少……？后面接复数可数名词。

One Line, Three Moments

Don't Say It That Way

本课只处理一个问题：先判断名词是否可数，再选择合适的数量表达。

第一步：分清两类名词

可数名词能直接用数字：two bottles、six guests。不可数名词通常不能直接用数字；需要单位时说 two bottles of water、one bag of ice。

第二步：用some和any说明“有或没有”

肯定句通常用 some：

We have some tomatoes.
We have some juice.

一般疑问句和否定句通常用 any：

Do we have any plates?
We don't have any ice.

邀请别人吃喝时，Would you like some…? 通常仍用 some。本课把它作为实用固定说法理解，不展开问句例外体系。

第三步：用many或much问数量

在日常肯定句里，a lot of 往往比单独使用 much / many 更自然；本课主动重点放在 How much…? / How many…? 和 not much / not many。

第四步：用a few或a little表示“有少量，不是完全没有”

We have a few plates. — 有几个盘子。
We have a little juice. — 有一点果汁。

• a few + 复数可数名词；
• a little + 不可数名词。

两者通常带有“还有一些”的正向视角，但是否够用仍由语境决定。only a few / only a little 常暗示数量少于当前需要。

本课不要求掌握不带 a 的 few / little。先稳定使用 a few / a little。

选择正确形式。

本课网页已配有完整对话、逐句播放和影子跟读。数量词容易听混，建议先正常播放，再逐句核对数字。

数量沟通中，最重要的信息通常是“多少”和“什么”。朗读时让数量词和物品名更清楚，其他小词轻一些：

不要把每个词都读得一样重。可以按意群练习：

数字确认

数字会影响采购时，不确定就立即确认。说出两个可能答案时，把对比数字读清楚：

At a community potluck, the organizer tells you, “Please bring fourteen paper cups.” The room is noisy, and you are not sure whether the number was fourteen or forty. Check the number by giving both possible numbers.

G. 对话补全

任务一：写一条真实可用的邀请

设想你要在家里安排一次简单的午餐、晚餐、喝茶或桌游。写一条 40—70词 的英文邀请，包括：

• 日期和时间；
• 活动是什么；
• 请对方确认是否参加；
• 请对方说明是否会带其他人；
• 如有必要，问对方是否有需要避开的食物。

不要真的购买或承诺大型活动；本任务只做一次完整模拟。

任务二：根据回复更新清单

请真人学习伙伴或语音助手在下面三张回复卡中随机选择两张，不提前告诉你：

• Reply A: “I'm coming alone, and I can bring some juice.”
• Reply B: “I'd love to come. Can I bring my partner?”
• Reply C: “Sorry, I can't make it after all.”

收到两张回复后：

1. 写一条 30—50词 的后续消息，确认你理解的人数和对方需要带的物品；
2. 列一份六项以内的准备清单；
3. 用 60—90秒 口头说明最终人数以及你需要多少食物、饮料和用品。

随机互动验证

请学习伙伴或语音助手再随机加入一个变化：

• one guest brings another person;
• two guests cancel;
• someone has already bought all the drinks;
• three glasses are broken;
• one guest does not eat meat.

你需要立即：

1. 用英语确认变化；
2. 重新计算人数；
3. 用 some / any、much / many、a few / a little 中至少四项修改清单；
4. 清楚说出最终方案。

间隔复习

两天后： 不看本课语法表，为五个人写一份食物、饮料和用品清单；再用四句话说明“已经有什么、还缺什么、要买多少、由谁带”。

七天后： 把人数改为八人，并随机删除清单中的两项。用60秒重新说明准备方案，保留录音，与今天的版本比较。

为每项选择：能做到／还不稳定／需要重学。
