Responsibility should follow evidence through the handoff chain

Daria opens a three-way review with Aisha and Leo. They compare the dispatch record, courier handoff, delivery receipt and customer photographs before deciding what still needs technical assessment.

Part A — Following who arranged and performed each action

Daria: We are reviewing responsibility, not assuming it. Can we hear from Leo on what was inspected, packed and recorded before the courier collected the unit?

Leo: The unit passed a basic power and screen check at 7:18 Monday. We had the mounting bracket inspected visually, and the checklist records no visible bend.

Aisha: Was the item photographed from every side before it was packed?

Leo: No. The 7:24 image shows the screen, front of the stand and left side. The lower-right bracket area is partly hidden by the base.

Daria: Who packed it, and was the protective insert checked?

Leo: A warehouse technician packed it at 7:31. The box was sealed and scanned at 7:42, but the checklist confirms only that the standard insert was present, not its exact position.

Aisha: Then the dispatch record supports a basic inspection and sealed box, but it does not show the bracket clearly or prove the insert was aligned.

Leo: That is correct. We had the package collected by the courier at 8:05. Their handoff scan reports no exception, but it has no photograph.

Daria: The delivery image at 10:18 shows a crease near the lower-right corner. Aisha’s receipt also records visible damage before unpacking.

Aisha: I had it delivered by the courier ClearView selected. I did not arrange a separate carrier or move the sealed box to another address.

Part B — Defining what the evidence can and cannot establish

Daria: What evidence is responsibility currently based on? We have a limited dispatch image, a clean handoff scan without a photo, a damaged-box delivery record and customer images taken fourteen minutes later.

Leo: Taken together, those records suggest the bracket could have been bent before packing or during transit. They do not show the exact moment of damage.

Aisha: Could it have been damaged after delivery but before I photographed it?

Daria: That possibility cannot be excluded by time alone, but the sealed-box note, short interval and your decision not to power it on all remain relevant. Possibility is not evidence that you caused it.

Leo: The unit needs to be assessed by a technician. The bracket, protective insert and impact marks may show whether the force came through the damaged corner.

Aisha: Will that assessment decide who is responsible?

Daria: It may narrow the likely stage, but one inspection may not identify a person or prove a single cause. Responsibility hasn’t been determined yet.

Leo: I also need to correct one phrase in the warehouse note. “Bracket inspected” could sound more complete than the actual visual check shown in the photo.

Daria: Are we ready to determine responsibility? No. We are ready to authorize technical assessment, preserve the charge pause and compare the report with every earlier record.

Aisha: Is that an accurate record: dispatch condition is only partly documented, transit condition has a gap and customer-caused damage has not been established?

G. 阅读：technical assessment request

Please inspect the bent mounting bracket, the lower-right protective insert and any impact transfer from the outer carton. Compare the unit with the customer photographs before moving or straightening any part. The purpose is to narrow the likely stage and mechanism of damage. Do not classify a responsible party unless the physical findings and handoff records support that conclusion.
