学完本课，你能够在没有看到完整原话的情况下：

• 礼貌地请求对方重复没有听清的信息；
• 分别确认陌生人的姓名、时间和地点；
• 发现自己听错后及时修正；
• 综合第1—3课的表达，完成一次重逢、近况交流和见面安排；
• 用一条30—60词的消息确认最终安排。

先用英语说出你已经会的表达，不必追求完整：

1. 对方说得太快，你会怎样请他再说一遍？
2. 你听见的时间可能是 10:15，也可能是 10:50。你会怎样确认？

A call about a photo walk

Maya has told Daniel about a neighborhood photo walk. A staff member from the arts center calls him with the details.

Part A — Checking the details

Daniel: Hello?

Nina: Hi, is this Daniel? This is Nina Cole from Harbor Street Arts Center. I'm calling about Saturday's neighborhood photo walk.

Daniel: Sorry, what was that? I couldn't hear you.

Nina: This is Nina Cole, from Harbor Street Arts Center.

Daniel: Sorry, I didn't catch your last name.

Nina: Cole. C-O-L-E.

Daniel: Thanks. Maya told me about the photo walk. Is it still at ten?

Nina: It starts at ten fifteen now.

3. I didn't catch …

我没听清…… 用来指出具体漏掉的部分，通常比让对方从头重复更高效。

4. Did you say … or …?

你说的是……还是……？当你已经听到两个可能答案时，用选择问句确认。

Did you say Room 14 or Room 40?

5. Just to check, you mean …?

确认一下，你指的是……吗？中性、合作式表达。第3课已经预览，本课开始主动使用。

6. Let me make sure I've got this right.

我确认一下自己有没有记对。中性、合作式表达；后面接你理解到的全部关键信息。

基础问句唤醒：How do you spell that? 这个怎么拼？它用于姓名、街道名或其他不熟悉的词，属于辅助问句，不计入本课10项核心表达，也不作新语法。

7. Are you still …?

你还……吗？第1课表达，本课进行无中文提示检索。

One Line, Three Situations

Don't Say It That Way

第一列有的能被理解，但对陌生人可能太直接，或不像自然会话中的常见说法。

本课没有新的主要语法。把第1—3课的结构放进下面四步，就能完成一段更可靠的对话。

第一步：问近况和变化

What have you been up to?
Are you still working at the hospital?
Do you still take pictures?
Have you joined one before?

• still / not … anymore / used to：比较过去与现在；
• 现在完成时：谈截至现在的经历或近况；
• 一般过去时：追问已经结束的具体事件和时间。

A: Have you changed jobs?
B: Yes, I have.
A: When did you change jobs?
B: Last year.

第二步：问安排

What time are we meeting?
Are we still meeting at the café?
I'm running about ten minutes late.
I'll call Nina now.

• 现在进行时：已经安排好的见面；
• will：说话当下作出的决定。

第三步：修复没有听清的信息

Sorry, what was that?
I didn't catch the time.
Did you say ten fifteen or ten fifty?

第四步：复述确认

Let me make sure I've got this right: Saturday at ten fifteen, by the front desk.

复述确认不是“英语不好”的表现。姓名、数字、地址和时间即使听起来简单，也值得主动核对。

快速辨析

选择最符合说话目的的形式。

15和50不能只听结尾

在单独说出或特意对比数字时：

• fifTEEN：重音通常在后面；
• FIFty：重音通常在前面，末尾是 -ty。

真实交流中不要只依赖发音差别。数字重要时，直接确认：

确认句的语调

当你还在等待对方确认时，句尾可以略微上扬：

完成两项任务：

1. 写下最终的时间、地点以及Maya可能迟到多久；
2. 给同行的人写一条30—50词的英文消息，转告变化，并请他们确认收到。

F. 陌生姓名、时间、地点确认任务

本课页面的“正常对话”可作为第一遍不看文本的陌生声音输入。播放时先不要向下查看对话，再完成下面的任务：

1. 不要先看答案区的“代读卡”；
2. 请学习伙伴或语音助手从A、B、C三张卡中随机选择一张，用正常清晰语速读一次；

G. 对话补全

根据情境补全对话。答案不唯一，但必须包含一次请求重复和一次完整确认。

H. Unit 1无提示检索

合上第1—3课，也不要回看本课表达表。读到每个英文情境后，五秒内开始回应。这里不给中文翻译，也不给原句首字母。

1. You meet a good friend for the first time in several years. Greet them, then ask what they have been doing in the years since you last met.
2. Your friend says it has been a long time. Ask generally how life has been for them since you last met.
3. Your friend says, “I changed careers last year.” React to the change, then ask about the result and the reason.
4. Your friend asks how your weekends have changed. Describe one past routine that has stopped, then ask whether they continue one of their old routines.
5. Find out whether your friend has ever taken a photography course. If the answer is yes, ask when.
6. Your friend moved back last year. Find out whether they have visited Seattle since the move.
7. Your friend has told you about work. Move naturally to ask about a hobby they mentioned earlier, then ask whether they still do it.
8. You want a longer conversation another day, but you need to see your schedule first. Make the suggestion and explain what you will do.
9. You arranged to meet outside the station at 6:15. At 6:05, you are on a bus and traffic has stopped. Restate the existing arrangement, explain what is happening now, give an expected arrival time and an alternative place, then make one on-the-spot decision about what you will do next.
10. The other person accepts the new place. Ask them to send an update when they are five minutes away, then end the later meeting politely.

Unit 1综合任务：重逢、近况和下一次见面

完成一段90—120秒的无稿对话。可以先列关键词，但不要写完整台词。

第一阶段：重新联系

• 自然打招呼并询问近况；
• 说出一项过去和现在的变化；
• 谈一项近年的经历，并回答“什么时候发生”的追问；
• 对一项经历追问结果或原因；
• 询问对方现在是否仍在做某件事。

第二阶段：确定见面

• 提议下一次见面；
• 给出时间和地点；
• 一方说明自己会迟到或需要改动安排；
• 另一方没有听清姓名、时间或地点，必须请求重复；
• 最后完整复述确认。

第三阶段：发确认消息

对话结束后，写一条30—60词的英文消息，包括：

• 见面的日期和时间；
• 具体地点；
• 是否有人可能迟到；
• 一句请对方确认的信息。

随机互动验证

录音可以证明你能组织语言，但不能完全证明你能处理意外信息。请真人学习伙伴或语音助手在对话中随机做两件事，不提前告诉你是哪两件：

• 把 6:15 改成 6:50；
• 给出一个你没听过的姓，并在你询问后拼写；
• 把集合地点从正门改到侧门；
• 说自己会晚十分钟；
• 用较快但清楚的速度说一次房间号；
• 听错你的信息，让你纠正一次。

你需要自然地请求重复、确认信息或修正误会，不能照读本课对话。

间隔复习

三天后，不看本课表达表，重新完成以下任务：

1. 说出三种请求重复或确认的方法；
2. 用 used to / still / not … anymore 各说一句真实信息；
3. 用现在完成时和一般过去时讲一项经历及发生时间；
4. 写一条包含迟到说明和最终安排的消息；
5. 保留第二次录音，与今天的录音比较。

为每一项选择：能做到／还不稳定／需要重学。

• 我能在没听清整句时礼貌地请求重复。
• 我能明确指出自己没听清的是姓名、数字还是地点。
• 我能用选择问句确认两个容易混淆的信息。
• 我能用一句话完整复述姓名、时间和地点。
• 我能综合过去与现在、近年经历和具体时间谈近况。
• 我能说明迟到或安排变化，并确认新的见面计划。
• 我能完成一条30—60词的最终确认消息。
• 我能在随机信息变化时继续对话，而不是只背原文。

如果有两项以上选择“需要重学”，先重做第7部分B、D、F，再隔一天完成第8部分的随机互动验证。
